Happens when we are very scared when exposed to a particular trigger. Some people have fears of confined/open spaces, dentists, needles, heights, flying - in fact the list is endless.
Phobias
This is where we lose complete control when exposed to something like spiders, dogs, cats, etc, you may have seen someone afraid to go into a room where there's one. The person has none or very little control over their response as its embedded in their subconscious.
